Soap made the traditional cold process way keeps the natural glycerin in the bar. That is a big part of why it feels the way it does.
- Render and weighTallow and oils are measured by weight for every batch.
- Mix and pourOils meet lye solution, scent and color go in, and the batch is poured into a mold.
- Rest and cutThe next day, the loaf is firm enough to slice into bars.
- Cure for four to six weeksBars dry on racks until they are hard and mild. Nothing ships early.
- Label and packEach bar gets a band with the ingredients and the batch number.
